Privacy

Anonymous by design.

We built this so that taking it doesn’t cost you your privacy. No account, no name, no email – and you can delete your result whenever you like.

What we collect

  • Your item responses and the scores computed from them.
  • Optionally, the sex and age band you choose for norming – coarse categories, never required.
  • An attention-check quality flag.

What we don’t collect

  • No name, no email, no login.
  • No IP address stored with your responses, and no advertising trackers.
  • No precise timestamps tied to your answers – we store the date only.

Your result link

A finished test is saved under a random, unguessable link (e.g. /result.php?id=…). Anyone with the link can view that report, so share it only if you want to. Your browser also keeps a list of your own results in localStorage on your device – that list never leaves your machine.

Deletion

Every result page has a Delete button that permanently removes the stored report. The only thing retained afterward is a de-identified copy of the responses used to compute aggregate norms – it contains no link, no identifier, and nothing that can be traced back to you or to the deleted report.

How we use the anonymous data

Aggregated, de-identified responses let us publish real reliability figures and eventually our own norms – exactly the transparency we promise on the method page. We don’t sell data, and we don’t combine it with anything that would re-identify you.

GDPR / CCPA

Our lawful basis for processing is your consent, given before the test. We practice data minimization (the list above is all of it), and you can exercise deletion yourself instantly. Because we hold no identifiers, we generally cannot single out an individual’s record after deletion – which is the privacy-protective design we intend. Questions: hello@personalityevaluation.com.

In short

Take it anonymously, keep or share the link, delete it whenever. The only thing that lingers is an unlinkable, aggregate-only copy that helps the test get better.
